Después de los dos ciudades finales, Córdoba y Toledo, abordamos el autobús y nos despedimos a España. Y después de un viaje de casi 13 horas en autobús y avión, por fin reunimos con nuestros familias. Y regresamos al colegio la mañana próxima.
After the final two cities, Cordoba and Toledo, we board us and said goodbye to Spain. And after a trip of almost 13 hours in bus and plane, we finally reunited with our families. And promptly returned to school the next day.

En las ultimas días fuimos a Córdoba para ver la mezquita y la alcanzaba. Había muchísimo arquitectura muy especial y único y me gustaba mucho. También Aubree Adi y yo teníamos empanadas buenas y caminamos por las calles. En Toledo también las estructuras y edificios eran fantásticos en todas modas. Me encantaban y en Toledo había muchos tiendas pequeñas a la Plaza que vistamos. Las ciudades eran la manera perfecta para terminar el viaje.
In the last days we went to Córdoba to see the Mosque and the fortress. There was lots of special and unique architecture that I liked a lot. Aubree Adi and I also walked through the streets and ate good empanadas. In Toledo there were also structures and buildings that were fantastic in all forms. I loved them and in Toledo there were many small shops around the Plaza which we visited. The cities were the perfect way to end the trip.
En nuestro último día en España, visitamos Toledo. La ciudad era antigua y fue guay a ver una ciudad nueva. Cenamos empanadas y estaban deliciosas. El día fue bastante relajado, con mucho turismo. ¡Una excelente dia de terminar el viaje! ¡Adiós, España! – Mya
On our last day in spain, we visited the city of toledo. The city was ancient and it was so cool to see a new type of city! We got empanadas for dinner and they were delicious. The day was pretty relaxed with lots of sight seeing. A great way to end the trip! Bye Spain! – Mya
Eso es mi post final!! En viernes, nosotros decimos adios a Zoe y subimos un autobús hasta Cordoba, donde vimos un pueblo bastante bonito. Después de caminando un poco, almorzamos en grupo en un restaurante español y fuimos de compras en un mercado que se parece a Dollar General – fue muy divertido. Y, en sábado, subimos autobús otra vez para ir a Toledo, donde vimos una mezquita/catedral belleza y después caminamos sobre el pueblo un poco, fuimos de compras, y cenamos en un restaurante japonés delicioso. This is my last post!! On Friday, we said goodbye to Zoe and got on a bus headed to Cordoba, where we saw a lovely town. After walking a little, we ate lunch in a Spanish restaurant and went shopping in a market that was similar to Dollar General – it was very fun. And, on Saturday, we we got on a bus again to go to Toledo, where we saw a beautiful Mosque/Cathedral and then walked around the city a bit and ate dinner at a delicious Chinese restaurant. It was a very busy and very fun day. (Written by Kaz)
Dias 11 y 12 fueron nuestros finales días con Zoe (:(((((). En miércoles, los actores hicieron su musical!. Nosotros asistimos uno de los especuladores y después salimos de la escuela para ir de compras en el centro de málaga. Tuvimos un metro hasta el centro, compramos un açaí para el almuerzo y después fuimos a un centro comercial donde compramos dulces y un poco de ropa. Jueves fue muchísimo mas calma – asistimos escuela regular y almorzamos en casa con Zoe y su madre. Zoe estaba muy cansado esa dia porque bailo mucho el día antes, pero caminamos al lado de la playa con su madre. (Escrito por Kaz)
Days 11 and 12 were our final days with Zoe (:(((((). On Wednesday, the actors performed their musical!. We attended one of the shows, then we left the school to go shopping in the center of Malaga. We took a subway into the center, bought açaí for lunch, and then went to shopping mall where we bought some candy and clothes. Thursday was way calmer – we went to regular school and ate lunch with Zoe and her mom. Zoe was very tired that day because she had danced a ton the day before, but we walked along the beach with her mom. (Written by Kaz)
Pasamos días 9 y 10 con nuestro familia en málaga. En lunes, tuvimos nuestro primer día de escuela con Zoe! Un amigo nos manejó a una escuela muy moderna, donde asistimos un clase de películas, de baile, de cantar (en que los estudiantes hicieron karaoke), de psicología, de ingles, y de literatura. Todo fue muy interesante pero no pudimos entender mucho de los profesores. En martes, asistimos unos clases en la mañana y en la tarde miramos una practica del musical dela escuela – Sr. Hodel iba a tener un ataca de corazón si lo vio. Después de la escuela los dos días, tuvimos un metro y un autobús al pueblo de Zoe para conocer a sus padres para manejar a su casa. En su casa en lunes, almorzamos con los amigos de Zoe por un celebración de su cumpleaños y martes almorzamos en un supermercado con los actores del musical. Los noches fueron muy tranquilas con una película, o tiempo independiente. A las 9 o 10 en la noche, cenamos algo pequeño y comimos un poco de postre antes de la cama. (Escrito por Kaz)

We spent days 9 and 10 with our family in Malaga. On Monday, we had our first day of school with Zoe!. A friend drove us to a very modern school, where we attended classes about movies, dancing, singing (where the students did karaoke), psychology, English, and literature. Everything was very interesting, but we couldn’t understand much of the professors. On Tuesday, we attended classes in the morning and a musical practice in the afternoon – Mr. Hodel would have a heart attack if he saw it. After school both days, we took a metro and a bus to Zoe’s town to meet her parents and drive home. At Zoe’s place on Monday, we ate lunch with some of Zoe’s friends to celebrate her birthday and on Tuesday we ate in a supermarket with the musical actors. The nights were very calm, with a movie or some independent time. At 9 or 10 pm, we ate something small for dinner and a little dessert before bed. (Written by Kaz)
Hoy es el fin día en España. Nosotros fuimos al aeropuerto y ahora esperamos por el avión. Este viaje ha sido un viaje muy divertido y importante. Voy a echar menos todo España y sus personas.
Today is our final day in Spain. We went to the airport and are now waiting our plane. This trip has been so fun and so important for us. I’m going to miss all of Spain and the people.
Ayer fuimos a Toledo. No teníamos mucho tiempo en la ciudad, pero yo disfruté el tiempo que tenía. Caminamos por la ciudad y vimos los edificios viejos, tiendas, y mucho más. Mi parte favorito del día era cuando vimos la ciudad con la puesta de sol.
Yesterday we went to Toledo. We didn’t have much time in the city, but I enjoyed the time that we had. We walked through the city and saw the old buildings, stores, and a lot more. My favorite part of the day was when we saw the city with the sunset.

El viernes, teníamos que salir de las casas de las familias. Estaba muy triste para despedir. Fuimos de la escuela y estábamos en el autobús para uno o dos horas. Entonces, estábamos en Córdoba! La ciudad era muy bonita. En la ciudad, vimos el Puente Romano, una mezquita, y el Alcazar.
On Friday, we had to leave the families’ houses. It was very sad to say goodbye. We left the school and were on the bus for one or two hours. Then, we were in Córdoba! The city was very beautiful. In the city, we saw the Roman bridge, a mosque, and the Alcazar.

En jueves, mi familia y yo visitamos el pueblo que mi madre anfitriona vivía cuando era joven. La pueblo es cerca a Sevilla y tiene un parque hermoso con un río. El pueblo también es famoso por sus pan porque tiene much molino a un lado el río. Además, la tierra es un color amarillo brillante. Usan este tierra por los corridos de toros y la feria. También, es un castillo antiguo que es preservado bien. Mi madre anfitriona me explicó que actividades la pueblo tiene por semana santa y los tradiciones especiales. Finalmente, el pueblo tiene un puente con un estatua dragón que tiene muchas coloridas. ¡Era divertido a ver un otro pueblo único! – Aubree
On Thursday, my family and I visited the town where my host mother lived when she was young. The town is close to Seville and has a beautiful park with a river. The town is also famous for its bread because it has many mills along the river. The dirt is also a bright yellow color. They use this dirt for the bullfighting rings and the fair. There’s also an old castle that’s well preserved. My host mother explained to me what activities the town has during Holy Week and the special traditions. Finally, the town has a bridge with a colorful dragon statue. It was fun to see another unique town!
